Individuals interested to learn IP Commercialisation courses at own convenient time from anywhere online under ‘self-study’ mode can easily undertake the ‘Self-Study’ Online Courses through the Learning Platform of this website. Of course, attending ‘LIVE’ Instructed-Led Courses do have additional benefit of the possibility of asking questions spontaneously to the instructor directly during the LIVE Course attendance and getting the doubts clarified therein (apart from learning the taught LIVE Course contents).
Self-Study courses have been created for ‘hands-on learning experience’ by the Candidates from the four client groups stated below:
Self-Study Online Course Candidates can have access to the Learning Platform of this website for a tenure (of few months) to access the chosen Self-Study Course. Candidates do have the choice of completing an optional online test to check their learning experience by undertaking a multiple-choice-questions (MCQ) type quiz at the end of having completed the course. Each course contains materials of ‘self-study presentation videos and PPT slides’ along with ‘few sample of useful tool templates (doc, excel, PPT)’ and ‘info of useful external links for further reading’. Recorded videos of the previously delivered ‘LIVE’ instructor-led courses may be also included in the materials of Self-Study Online Courses.
Employers/Institutions (esp. research organisations, universities) can also make purchase of Self-Study Online Courses by visiting the respective course page and make payment of the corresponding course fee on behalf of their employees (e.g. researchers, academics, KE professionals, spinout founders, startup business managers). Such sponsoring of course fees by Employers may contribute positively towards their institutional objective of imparting IP awareness and IP Commercialisation skills upon its employees.
Trainees can read how these LIVE Courses are relevant to four client groups by visiting the respective ‘Client Group pages of Self-Study Online Courses Menu’ on this website. Each LIVE course is delivered by the Instructor with content materials of ‘PPT slides’ along with ‘few sample of useful tool templates (doc, excel, PPT)’ and ‘info of useful external links for further reading’.
Certain courses have been labelled as ‘Internship’ type wherein the core learning emphasis is on ‘enabling an intern (e.g. researcher/KE-Professional) translate their learning experience of IP commercialisation skills directly onto a real/sample IP Commercialisation project idea’ by working with the taught course contents through a ‘5-10 week’ tenure on own effort (under the supervision of the Instructor and by holding a weekly catch-up discussion call for a timeslot limited up to ‘2hr max’ between the Instructor and the Intern).
Research Institutions (esp. UK Universities) can seek an additional ‘bulk-purchase discount’ on the quoted prices of the upcoming ‘LIVE’ instructed-led courses (or ‘Self-Study’ online courses), if the bulk-purchase is for a minimum required number of attendees (subject to the availability of ‘any special discount offer’ at the time of purchase).
Note-1: Employers/Institutions have also the option of buying a paid Institutional Learning Portal subscription (for a specific number of online users/attendees) to get unlimited access to a ‘pre-selected’ list of ‘Self-Study’ online courses for a certain number of months (and these ‘Self-Study’ courses may include recorded videos of the previously delivered ‘LIVE’ instructor-led courses too)’. Note-2: IP2Impact Ltd can also consider the possibility of delivering the advertised LIVE or Self-Study courses at a mutually convenient time/date for an ‘exclusive’ group of attendees either ‘ONLINE’ or ‘in-person at a location’ (provided the institution/buyer covers the additional cost of travel expenses & course delivery preparations).
