Senior Staffs in Knowledge Exchange or Research Support or Technology Transfer responsibilities can learn the logical approach of devising “Policy, Process, Practice for operating an effective TTO in a University” by attending this master-class course. Knowledge Exchange (KE) Professionals executing IP Commercialisation support roles are often asked to support the Senior Management of the employer University in devising an effective IP Commercialisation strategy.

Knowledge Exchange (KE) Professionals executing IP (Intellectual Property) Commercialisation support roles are often asked to support the Senior Management of the employer University in devising an effective IP Commercialisation strategy which is fit for purpose to the specific working environment of their employer University amidst the larger UK Higher Education landscape (in terms of available funding scenario and support norms).  


This course will be mainly useful to Technology Transfer professionals who wish to take on the leadership role of heading a TTO (Technology Transfer Office) or IP Commercialisation team in a UK University environment.

• Devising IP Policy and Processes – Governance, Templates, Funds, Staffs, IP Attorneys

• Raising IP awareness & embedding IP Commercialisation – Trainings and events

• Specific Tools and Templates for project support and Portfolio management – IP Database
